Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Extra Market, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you're not entirely satisfied, we're here to help through our clear and fair refund and return process.

Our policy lasts for 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. If 7 days have passed since your item was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange unless required by law.

2. Eligibility Criteria for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging.
  • You must initiate the return within 7 days of delivery.
  • The product must be in the same condition in which you received it.
  • The return must include all original accessories, manuals, tags, and invoices.

We only accept returns if:

  • The product is damaged or defective
  • The item delivered is incorrect or not as described.
  • The product is missing parts/accessories.

Items returned after the return window or in unacceptable condition will not be eligible for a refund and will be sent back.

Note for Sellers:

Once a product is sold to ExtraMarket and has passed our internal quality check, the transaction is considered final and non-reversible. Sellers transfer full ownership of the item to ExtraMarket upon successful pickup and quality verification. Therefore, sellers are not eligible for any refunds, returns, or requests to reclaim the item after the sale is complete. Payment will be processed as per the agreed terms and no further claims will be entertained regarding the sold product.

3. Return Process
  1. Log in to your Extra Market account and go to My Orders.
  2. Select the product you wish to return and click on Request Return.
  3. Provide the reason for return and upload images/videos if required.
  4. Wait for approval. Once approved:
    • A reverse pickup will be scheduled by our courier partner, OR
    • You may be instructed to self-ship the product to the seller’s warehouse.
  5. After the returned product is received and inspected, a refund or exchange will be processed

Important: Ensure that the product is securely packed to avoid damage during return transit

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and approved, we will process your refund within 3–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

    Payment Mode(Refund Timeline)
  • UPI / Net Banking (3–5 business days)
  • Credit/Debit Card (5–7 business days)
  • Wallet / Store Credit (Within 24 hours)
  • Cash on Delivery (Bank transfer within 7–10 business days after verification)

If your refund is delayed, please check with your bank or payment provider. For unresolved refund issues, contact our support at contact@extramarket.in.

5. Order Cancellations
  • Before Shipping: You may cancel your order any time before it is shipped by going to My Orders and clicking Cancel Order.
  • After Shipping: Orders cannot be canceled once shipped. In such cases, you may request a return after receiving the item.

If the order is canceled from our side due to product unavailability, incorrect pricing, or logistics failure, the full amount will be refunded automatically.

6. Exchanges

We allow exchanges only in the following cases:

  • Wrong item delivered
  • Size/color mismatch (if the seller supports it)
  • Damaged or defective item received

Once the returned item is received and passes inspection, the replacement product will be shipped, subject to stock availability.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your return or refund request, you may escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer. We will mediate between you and the seller to reach a fair resolution.
To raise a complaint, email us at contact@extramarket.in with:

  • Order ID
  • Detailed issue
  • Supporting images or documents

We aim to resolve escalations within 7 working days.

8. Jurisdiction

This Refund & Return Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.
